Mr. Pinkerton has had a long and distinguished career in the oil and gas industry. Previously, Mr. Pinkerton served as Chairman, President and CEO during his 27-year tenure with Range Resources Corporation (NYSE: RRC). Range Resources grew from its small cap origins to be a $13 billion enterprise with a preeminent position in the Marcellus Shale Play. Prior to Range Resources, Mr. Pinkerton held the title of Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Snyder Oil Corporation.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Encino Energy, LLC a private oil and gas operating company, in Houston, TX since 2017.  He also served as a director of EP Energy Corporation from 2020 until the company was sold in 2022. 

Mr. Pinkerton received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University, where he now serves on the board of trustees, and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mr. Pinkerton’s qualification to serve on the Board include his widespread skills in management, acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties, related corporate financing activities, hedging, risk analysis and the evaluation of drilling programs.
